1. The 2010 and 2011 for MacBook Air SSDs are 6 + 12-pin, with contacts on one side and dimensions of 109 * 24mm / 4.3 * 0.9inch.
2. 2012 The for MacBook Air SSD is 7 + 17 pins and measures 109 * 24mm / 4.3 * 0.9inch.
3. Both the 2013 and 2014 for MacBook Air SSDs have contact on both sides, with 16 + 12 pins on one side and 11 + 14 pins on the other, measuring 89 * 24mm / 3.5 * 0.9inch.

1. Please determine the interface definition of the SSD.
2. Please check the rated current of the SSD. The maximum power supply current is 1A of the USB 3.0 interface. If the USB port cannot provide enough current for the ssd, the computer cannot recognize or work well because the power supply cannot meet the requirements.
3. Do not use the USB extension and HUB as it will result in insufficient power.
4. Connect to the data cable of the computer's USB port after the desktop home page.
5. SSD work releases heat and the outer casing is very hot, which is normal.
6. The disk format used by for Mac OS and some digital camera systems is not compatible with for Microsoft system. If there is no partition in the new SSD, open "My Computer" and you can't see ssd. Please use Disk Manager in for Windows to delete partition or on SSD. Create a new partition.
