they are marked as 1997 production and i have seen 1999 486s still with the classic drop e in intel.. i would be very suspect. Crying or Very sad
That style of intel font was used in their intel inside logo... but even then the t wasnt crossed... it only extended on the right side.
another issue is that size die cap i have only found on the older 486s up to DX2-66.
Anything faster than that was released after the new manufacturing technology reduced the die size.
